Stonegate is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The population was 8,962 at the 2010 census, up from 6,284 at the 2000 census.

Geography
Stonegate is located in northeastern Douglas County at 39°31?54?N 104°48?6?W (39.531581, -104.801657). It is bordered to the east by the city of Parker and to the west by unincorporated Grand View Estates.
The E-470 toll road around the south side of the Denver metropolitan area forms the northern edge of Stonegate, with access from Exits 3 and 4. Downtown Denver is 21 miles (34 km) to the northwest.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km2), all of it land.

Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 6,284 people, 1,877 households, and 1,717 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 3,113.6 people per square mile (1,201.1/km²). There were 1,919 housing units at an average density of 950.8 per square mile (366.8/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.50% White, 0.95% African American, 0.51% Native American, 2.61% Asian, 1.15% from other races, and 2.28% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.34% of the population.
There were 1,877 households out of which 65.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 84.1% were married couples living together, 5.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 8.5% were non-families. 6.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 0.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.35 and the average family size was 3.51.
In the CDP, the population was spread out with 39.4% under the age of 18, 3.2% from 18 to 24, 38.8% from 25 to 44, 17.0% from 45 to 64, and 1.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females, there were 97.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.5 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $101,718, and the median income for a family was $102,840. Males had a median income of $74,167 versus $47,000 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $35,480. About 1.8% of families and 1.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 1.0% of those under age 18 and none of those age 65 or over.
