Oldcastle, Inc. is the North American arm of Ireland-based CRH plc and is divided into two organizational units: Americas Products, and Americas Materials.
Americas Products includes the following three distinct businesses:
- Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is the leading supplier of products specified to close the building envelope. These products include: custom-engineered curtain wall and window wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors, skylights and architectural glass.
- Oldcastle Architectural Products is the North American leader in concrete masonry and hardscape products. This group also specializes in the manufacturing of bagged products such as Sakrete and bagged stone, and soil and mulch.
- Oldcastle Precast is the leading North American manufacturer of concrete and polymer-based products, including containment vaults and modular buildings.
Until 2 Jan 2017, Oldcastle operated Allied Building Products, a leading building products distributor to specialty contractors in residential and commercial construction. This business was sold to Beacon Roofing.
Americas Materials supplies aggregates, asphalt, and ready-mix concrete, and provides paving and construction services. This group operates over 1,200 locations in 44 states. Americas Materials is the number one asphalt producer and the number one asphalt paver in the United States.
